I entered the accounting profession because I yearned to work directly with real people, helping them understand their taxes & finances instead of just filling out forms once a year. That's why I began working alongside my father, Laurence Simon, a CPA who has been serving clients for over 35 years. Under his mentorship, I've worked through a wide variety of tax situations, advised small business owners, prepared hundreds of tax returns, and earned my Enrolled Agent (EA) credential.
Enrolled Agents are the only federally licensed tax professionals who specialize in taxation and have unlimited rights to represent taxpayers before the IRS. To earn this credential, I passed a rigorous three-part exam on federal tax law and uphold the strict ethical guidelines of IRS Circular 230.
