Hi, I'm David, and I am so excited to work with you.
I'm passionate about helping individuals with their taxes and service-based business owners create a squeaky clean set of books that actually help them feel organized and confident. My mission is simple: To help cut down on confusion, bring clarity to your finances, and make tax time a breeze.
I entered the accounting profession because I yearned to work with individuals and small businesses, empowering them through my knowledge of tax law and bookkeeping practices. That's why I began working alongside my father, Laurence Simon, a CPA with over 35 years of experience. Under his mentorship, I have handled an extensive range of tax situations, managed monthly bookkeeping for small businesses, and earned my Enrolled Agent (EA) credential.
Enrolled Agents are the only federally-licensed tax practitioners who both specialize in taxation and have unlimited rights to represent taxpayers before the IRS. To earn this credential, I passed a rigorous three-part exam on federal tax law, and am held to the strict ethical guidelines of IRS Circular 230.
I have earned the trust of my clients and my father's clients because I hold myself to meticulous standards of integrity and diligence. Whether you're an individual looking for stress-free tax filing, or a business owner looking for ongoing bookkeeping and tax support, I'm an accounting professional who cares about you, not just your numbers.
